OSLO CITY BALLET

Welcome to Oslo City Ballet

Oslo City Ballet is a platform for dance based in Oslo, Norway, working nationally and internationally across stage, film, and interdisciplinary projects.

We believe dance thrives when it is questioned, cared for, and connected. Our work is built around access, dancer health, and innovative production formats — rethinking how dance is made, who it is for, and how it meets the world today.

The Founder

Oslo City Ballet is founded by Melissa Hough, an American principal dancer and choreographer with over two decades of international experience.
